Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
