Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at website TradeTheDay.
